As the culmination of our bicentennial celebration, the Diocese of Richmond will host its first Eucharistic Congress, which will begin on Friday, November 6, 2020 and end on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Instead of gathering at the Greater Richmond Convention Center as planned, we will organize a series of synchronized events in parishes, and speakers will give online presentations. More details will be forthcoming, but please continue to reserve this date.
A Eucharistic Congress is a gathering of clergy, religious, and laity to bear witness to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. This event will bring together clergy, religious, and laity from parishes, schools, and campus ministries from across the Diocese of Richmond.
The Congress includes a Eucharistic Procession, a Holy Hour, the celebration of Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, engaging national speakers, and other devotions. Click on the following link register:

Please keep in mind that this virus, as well as most viruses, are spread by airborne particles and skin to skin contact from particles left on the hands. We are all advocates for ourselves and our families. We must make our decisions based on our own heath care circumstances which are private.
As a parishioner of St. Luke, we all have responsibilities to our fellow parishioners. A few of the recommendations from church leadership include:
If you are ill and not feeling well, please stay home, and kindly refrain from attending Mass, classes, or meetings. (Note, we are talking about a cough and runny nose accompanied by a fever).
Please refrain from holding hands during the Lord’s Prayer, and from shaking, or hugging, during the sign of Peace.
